These rules help keep future TellYourTrip participation useful, respectful, and safe.
Community participation is not publicly available yet. These rules apply when posting, commenting, asking, answering, reporting, or other community functions become available.
Be respectful
Do not harass, threaten, shame, discriminate against, or target people because of identity or vulnerability. Disagreement must stay civil and must not become coordinated abuse.
Share authentic experience
Do not impersonate people or organisations, fabricate experiences, manipulate engagement, or present advertising, sponsorship, or generated material as an independent first-hand account.
Keep it useful
Keep contributions relevant to travel discovery. Clearly distinguish personal experience from facts, avoid misleading safety or immigration claims, and do not spam, solicit, or repeatedly post the same material.
Protect people and privacy
Do not reveal private contact details, identity documents, precise sensitive locations, or images of others without an appropriate basis. Do not encourage unlawful entry, dangerous challenges, exploitation, or conduct likely to put someone at risk.
Helpful participation
Share first-hand travel context, ask clear questions, correct mistakes, credit sources, respect local communities, and explain when information may have changed.
Prohibited conduct
Unlawful, abusive, deceptive, sexually exploitative, hateful, violent, privacy-invasive, rights-infringing, fraudulent, malware-related, or safeguard-evasion content and conduct are prohibited. TellYourTrip may restrict or remove content or accounts when reasonably necessary, but a report does not guarantee a particular outcome.
